The more the merrier — two more Virginia Democrats throw thier hats into the ring in the 2013 Attorney General race

In the last several weeks, two more lawyers joined the race for Attorney General in 2013 on the Democratic side of the ball.

The first, Justin Fairfax, currently serves as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia and the second, Mike Signer, was previously a candidate for Lieutenant Governor. Neither of the two new candidates has been required to post fundraising information yet.

And of course, Fairfax and Signer join state Sen. Mark Herring, who announced late last year.

One regular theme of this blog has been steps that an Attorney General of the Commonwealth could take to crack down on fraud and false claims on the Commonwealth and stretch our tax dollars further
