Report from Annapolis on the Maryland False Claims Act





I am just back from a full day in Annapolis where, I am pleased to report, resistance to the idea of a Maryland False Claims Act seems to be crumbling. 

This year, two different versions of a state FCA were introduced in the Maryland Senate–one version, Lt. Gov. Brown and Gov. O’Malley.  Meanwhile, Sen. Lenett  and Sen. Raskin, is a full fledged Maryland False Claims Act.
