A Giant Leap Forward for Virginia Courts....


The Virginia Lawyers Weekly blog has an important post today about the Virginia Rules of Evidence...namely, that we will at last have one. 

There appears to be no opposition to the codification of the rules of evidence (surprise surprise) paving the way for the enactment of the official rules during the 2010 session of the General Assembly.

SCOVA Chief Justice Kinser led the charge — and to her we all owe a debt of gratitude.
