Fairfax Bar Association CLE on the VFATA is a success

I am pleased to announce that the VFATA CLE last night was a success—we had a small but insightful group of nine lawyers turnout to learn more about the VFATA and how it is relevant to the practice of law in Virginia.

I usually find that discussion-style CLE seminars get higher evaluations, and last night was no exception. With panelists as knowledgeable as Guy Horsley (the VFATA coordinator for the Virginia OAG) and Jeb White (Executive Director of TAF) there was always the risk of bombarding everyone with too much technical language, but everyone did a great job of keeping the discussion on an introductory level.

Thanks again to Sandra Marchenko, Guy and Jeb for their help.  If anyone would like a copy of the written booklet, feel free to email me.  Also, I will follow up in the next couple of days with posts on some of the excellent questions that were posed as time expired last night.
